Visas

I am from Russia, and possibly will be in Limerick, Ireland, at the time - with an Irish visa only. Is it possible to visit Belfast for one day without an UK visa, but with an Irish one? And: jhow does one reach Belfast from Limerick?

I can't give you an answer about the visa situation. There are checks - I was checked last time I travelled Belfast to Dublin. So please make sure you have the correct visa/papers for travelling to Northern Ireland. Ciaran 05:27, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Comment by someone else: To get to Belfast you probably need to get to Dublin first. I think you can get a train from Limerick to Dublin and then another train from Dublin to Belfast.
Kenguest 10:19, 15 March 2006 (UTC): These are the schedules of trains from Dublin Connolly to Belfast:

7:35 arriving at 9:45
09:35 arriving at 11:45
11:00 arriving at 13:10
fare costs a whopping 86 euro though.

The Aircoach service from Dublin Airport leaves at 07:00 and arrives accross the road from the Conference centre at 09:25. Cost is 15 euro and you're advised to be present for the bus at least 15 minutes before hand. (Source: aircoach website)
